Additionally, the user experience on these platforms varies widely, with many lacking intuitive interfaces and clear instructions.
How do users manage their YouTube playlist transfer process?
User Interviews
I conducted interviews with a diverse group of individuals to delve into their experiences with YouTube playlist export features. These interviews aimed to uncover insights into users' behaviors, preferences, and challenges when it comes to exporting playlists from YouTube. Through open-ended questions and discussions, we explored various aspects such as their motivations for exporting playlists, the methods or tools they currently use, frustrations encountered during the process, and their ideal functionalities for an improved export feature.
Key Insights
All interviewees expressed challenges when exporting playlists from YouTube, especially when wanting to access them on other platforms or devices. This included issues with limited export options, disruptions in playlist order, and the loss of metadata during the export process.
